SASO Certification - LED Lighting Certification for Saudi Arabia
SASO certification is the collective name for export certification to Saudi Arabia. In fact, it should be called Certificate Of Conformity certification. Translated into Declaration of Conformity, COC certification. Therefore, it is wrong to print the words SASO certification on the surface of the product. Such printing may lead to unsuccessful customs clearance.
In fact, many of the SASO standards are established based on the safety standards of relevant international organizations such as the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Saudi Arabia and SASO require that all products covered by SASO certification standards have SASO certification certificates when entering Saudi Customs. Products without SASO certificates will be refused entry by Saudi port customs.

- Commercial Trade License, which is valid in Saudi Arabia, and the license scope on the certificate includes the lamps for certification.
- MANUFACTURER'S DECLARATION OF CONFORMITYL can be downloaded from the official website below
- IMPORTER'S DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY can also be downloaded from the official website;
- PHOTOS AND MARKING LABEL contains all the models to be applied for, serial numbers, countries of origin, trademarks, pictures of each model, etc.;
- MANUAL including the Arabic operation manual is required, English is optional, the manual must contain safety instructions and import standards, and the serial number must also appear in the manual;
- CB TEST CERTIFICATE should provide the latest CB certificate, which is valid for 3 years.;
- The CB TEST REPORT report must comply with the application standards, and the testing standard should be the latest CB. All products must be based on the test reports provided;
- PLUG REQUIREMENTS If there is no PLUG, there is no need to provide it;
- For Lighting Products, The SLC certificate must comply with SASO 2870, SASO2902 and 2927 standards, energy efficiency labels, and packaging that conforms to EER labels;
- PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION DECLARATION)
